What an unforgettable Motzei Shabbos! Over 500 fathers and sons gathered for a standing-room-only event, part of The Chicago Center community-wide Avos UBonim program. The Chicago center facilitates Avos UBonim in 15 shuls around the community and was thrilled to be celebrating our city’s enhanced Kedushas Shabbos and limud HaTorah at the Melava Malka.
The evening kicked off with inspiring divrei brocha from the Zidichover Rebbe, HaRav Zalman Leib Eichenstein shlita. Following his words, the crowd joined in dancing and enjoyed pizza before an incredible performance by Rebbee Hill, the nationally renowned storyteller. His interactive tales captivated the audience, bringing the stories to life with activities and energy that kept everyone engaged. The night wrapped up with exciting raffles, bentching, and pekalach for all the boys.
Rebbee Hill also made this a Shabbos to remember, visiting and speaking in four different shuls across Peterson Park and West Rogers Park. Hundreds of fathers and sons enjoyed his inspirational messages over Shabbos, leaving a lasting impact across our community.
